You Can Now Watch Barbra Streisand on Netflix

Barbra Streisand

Fans of Barbra Streisand, we have great news for you: you can watch her latest concert on Netflix as the streaming platform now has Barbra: The Music…The Mem’ries…The Magic!, a concert film following the songstress in a 13 city tour, culminating in a dazzling performance in Miami.

The concert film straightforwardly shows Streisand singing her greatest hits, but it also has candid moments, such as what happens backstage, when she calls a restaurant to order her favorite food, and interacting with famous friends like Hugh Jackman and Alec Baldwin.

Barbra: The Music…The Mem’ries…The Magic! has been reviewed well, with the New York Times saying that she “has a little more grit and grain in her voice than she used to, but like the master that she is, she makes it work for her. And when she brings her songs to their big moments — she does excel at those that are meant to be acted as well as sung.”

Streisand is an accomplished singer, songwriter, actress, and filmmaker. She is one of the few who have won an Emmy (five), Grammy (10), Oscar (2), and a Tony (one), making her part of the special EGOT group. In 1983, she co-wrote, co-produced, directed, and starred in Yentl, which won an Oscar and a Golden Globe.

She continues to produce albums, the latest of which is Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway, released last year.

Barbra: The Music…The Mem’ries…The Magic! is available for streaming on Netflix.
