Yamaha Motor Philippines has transformed the LRT Monumento Station once again this year to showcase its Yamaha Mio Gear “Play Your Tough” campaign—inspiring all commuters to give that extra push to ride through every challenge, master the hustle, and forge one’s way to an unbreakable lifestyle!
The activation kicked off with an inauguration with Yamaha VIPs Toni Acuesta (Marketing Section Manager), Shinsuke Iida (Sales & Marketing Division Head), and Hiroshi Koike (President) as well as Light Rail Manila Corporation Head of Operation Andrea Mellind Madrid.
Members of the media, motovloggers, and guests got to see the LRT train decorated with the eye-catching design of the Mio Gear “Play Your Tough” promotional material not just on the outside but inside as well, with the strap hangers and the ad boards.

For the past months, Yamaha Motor Philippines has focused on delivering the message of harnessing one’s mental and physical toughness to overcome obstacles throughout the country with their “Play Your Tough” campaign by bringing the Mio Gear Playground to Manila, Cebu, and Cagayan De Oro. This activation at the LRT Monumento Station will surely reach every Filipino–from motor riders to athletes to thrill-seekers–and move them to believe in their inner strength so they can always rise above the challenge.
