Yamaha Motor Philippines launched their newest motorcycle that’s race-ready and built for the fastest rides anywhere and everywhere you go!
The new Sniper 155 model was unveiled at the Yamaha Fastfest at the SM by the Bay in Pasay City on May 4 and 5, 2024, during a fun-filled afternoon of free activities, including a Moto Trainer Sim and photo booths, and an even more exhilarating evening program which featured song performances by Yamaha ambassador Nik Makino and a guest appearance by the Philippines’ top moto racers April King Mascardo, Gian Carlo Mauricio, and Mckinley Kyle Paz. Nik Makino also hyped up the audience with his performance of the official Yamaha Racing theme song titled “Creating Champions.” Meanwhile, motorcycle riders, members of YCLUB, and the media got the chance to try out the new Sniper 155 at the test ride site at Block 16.

The new Yamaha Sniper 155 comes in two colors: Race Blu, representing the classic Yamaha Motor Philippines colors, and a unique and eye-catching Cyan. This variant has a liquid-cooled 155cc fuel-injected engine which results in strong acceleration from a stop and excellent performance at high speeds.
It also promotes light and agile handling, which makes driving this on the road such a breeze. All this plus more features like all-around LED lights, a full LCD instrument panel, a 12V DC power socket, assist and slipper clutch, hydraulic single disc brakes, and VVA technology results in a highly innovative yet still familiar motorbike that faithful Yamaha riders would love.
The second variant, the new Sniper 155R, is the higher trim and is equipped with an automatic braking system. It comes exclusively in matte black and also gets a smart key system.

So how much are the new Yamaha Sniper models? The Yamaha Sniper 155 will retail for PHP 125,900 while the Yamaha Sniper 155R will cost PHP145,900.
