I got a chance to interview Mr. Lawrence Wang about the concept, offers and future plans of Top Chefs. Here’s how it went:

 

1. Top Chefs was built through hard work and perseverance.

• At an early age of 18, Lawrence already made a name for himself in the world of business. He established Hungry Cow, his first business, while he was still in college. It was so successful that it was named as one of the Philippines 100 Most Powerful and Admired Brands, an honor shared with businesses like SM and Starbucks. Sadly, it was difficult for him to maintain and supervise Hungry Cow while going college, so he had to close it down.
• With the money he earned, He built Top Chefs Food Supplies Inc. From the concept and logo to the interior and website, he made everything himself. This just goes to show that with hard work and perseverance, you can be very successful and reap all of the rewards that you worked hard for.

 

2. Why Top Chefs?

• The name Top Chefs was made to inspire him to always stay on top. According to Mr. Wang, with the growing number of restaurants and bake shops competing with each other, why not just supply their businesses? His goal is to supply and cater the needs of these businesses and even help them expand their income as they offer low-priced yet quality ingredients.

 

3. High quality items at the lowest price??

• Yes, you heard it right. Believe it or not, they offer quality items at the lowest prices. Breaking the popular misconception that low prices means substandard items and vice versa, Top Chefs proves that you can give quality service at the comfort of your customers.

After the cooking and baking classes, Mr. Lawrence gave us gift bags as a thank you for coming. I enjoyed my visit at #TopChefsPH.
