Board game enthusiasts definitely had so much fun at this three-day board game event, All ABOARD EXPO 2023, held from October 13 to 15 at the East Atrium Shangri-La Plaza Mall.

One of the highlights of the fun event was the first-ever Cascadia Philippines National Tournament! Chago Chapala was hailed as the first Cascadia National Champ and official Philippine representative to the Cascadia Asia Competition at the CMON Expo in Bangkok this November.

Coup: Philippine Edition Exhibit
Another highlight of All ABOARD EXPO 2023 was the official art unveiling of Coup: Filipino Edition with a signing by artist Camille Chua Tan of Frillion Art. In this version, players are transported to the Spanish Colonial Era in a vibrant city under the rule of a feeble and corrupt court.

The quest is to dismantle the influence of rival families, compelling their exile and emerging as the sole surviving family. The Filipino rendition draws inspiration from Rizal’s literary opus, Noli Me Tangere, and the well-loved Maria Clara at Ibarra television series.

All ABOARD EXPO 2023 also showcased the latest board game titles launched during Essen Spiel 2023 in Germany! Among the featured games that stood out was Apiary, an innovative creation by Stonemaier Games that introduces hyper-intelligent bees venturing into outer space to build, explore, and thrive.
