I’m sure getting your wig snatched isn’t one of them! But that’s exactly what happened to a lucky VAMPZ (fandom name for VAV) when she attended VAV’s Budapest stop during their Meet & Live Tour 2019. It went from what would have been an embarrassing moment to one of the sweetest memories she’ll ever have. And of course, this heartwarming gesture would be quick to go viral on K-pop twitter, piquing the interest of many.
One week ago, VAV literally snatched my wig.
I mean LITERALLY.

From the video, we can clearly see how the group decides to form a barricade around her and shield her from the audience as she tries to put her wig back on. Some members even joked about how the concert was over to help her save face. I mean, how can we not fall for them after seeing such sweet gestures?
But as a fan myself, I can safely say that VAV has always maintained such a close and intimate relationship with their fans, old and new alike. Be it in their trendy VCams, Sunday Live Chats, and their Interviews/TV Show Guestings, they have always made it a point to make sure that VAMPZ feel loved. And their Manila stop was no exception!

It didn’t matter whether you were part of the lucky few that were chosen to go up on stage because each moment spent with them was the one-of-a-kind experience that you wouldn’t ever forget!

I never would’ve guessed that a viral fan video would get people to start taking an interest in VAV but I’m so glad it has! VAV is an extremely talented group, made up of the most humble, caring and thoughtful people.
It’s about time that the world recognized these seven men. And in the most stan twitter lingo ever: SLEEP ON BEDS, NOT ON TALENT AND VAV!
Given this, I’ve got a few recommendations.
If I have to be completely honest (and unbiased), their discography is flawless and it’s hard to just pick a few songs to recommend and get you started but here are the ones you need to listen to first:
Give Me More
If you loved Super Junior’s Lo Siento, then you’re sure to love this one as well. Collaborating with Puerto Rican singer De La Ghetto and Grammy-winning production duo Play-N-Skillz, Give Me More is a feel-good summer track that is sure to get your whole body grooving.
Fun fact: This M/V was actually shot in the white sandy beaches of Bohol

Señorita
With passionate lyrics and addictive beats, Senorita is VAV’s rendition of the mega-hit song of the same title by Kay One featuring Pietro Lombardi. Here, members Lou and Ayno also contributed to making the rap portions which adds a personal touch to an already exciting song! Not to mention, this collaboration between Latin-Pop and K-pop truly shows how music is able to connect us as one.
Poison
If a hot summer love isn’t your cup of tea then maybe a break song about toxic relationships is? Poison is the title track of their most recent comeback, and it shows just how versatile they are as artists! Their 5th Mini Album also features a song composed by the one-and-only Hui ( the mastermind behind Wanna One’s Energetic ), titled 119.
