It’s been a common thing this season for Russell Westbrook to record a triple-double. That’s why he’s one of the top MVP candidates.
In the Thunder’s game, he had another triple double. Only this time he did it without missing a shot or a free throw, becoming the first player in the history of the NBA to accomplish that feat.
In OKC’s 122-97 win over the Philadelphia 76ers, Westbrook finished the game with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists, while shooting 6-of-6 from the field and 6-6 from the free throw line. REALLY IMPRESSIVE.
Even he seemed impressed by it.

Westbrook now has a league-leading 35 triple doubles on the season. He now only needs six more to tie Oscar Robertson’s single-season record which was set in 1962.
And he just might be able to because the Thunder have 11 more games in the regular season.
Do you think he can do it?
