Just when we thought Maleficent already ended last 2014… Angelina Jolie is back!
Her iconic villain role, Maleficent, is making a comeback for Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.
The original cast members Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, and Lesley Manville will still be with Angelina on this sequel. On the other hand, the trailer showed new cast members. Robert Lindsay and Michelle Pfeiffer will be joining the rest of the crew for the first time ever as King John and Queen Ingrith.
This fantasy adventure sequel will be set many years after the first movie’s ending and will pretty much focus on the relationship between the horned fairy, Maleficent and the soon-to-be queen, Aurora as they form new alliances and face new rivals in their struggle to protect the moors.

Walt Disney Studios announced that the movie is set to soar into theaters on October 18, 2019. Just in time for Halloween!
