Who knew that it was actually possible to do a soulful rendition of Parokya Ni Edgar’s song “Please Don’t Touch My Birdie”? Well, we now know what that would sound like, thanks to “Idol Philippines” judges Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, and Moira Dela Torre.
In a short video posted by Moira on her Instagram page, she, Gary, and Regine sang quite an emotional and heartfelt cover of the irreverent song while the Parokya Ni Edgar frontman, Chito Miranda, who was seated beside the three kept chuckling and shaking his head in amusement.
At the end of the song, the three began to laugh as the Idol Philippines staff clapped and cheered.

A lot of her friends and followers jumped into the comments to commend the judges for the entertaining rendition.
“Panalo! Talagang high note pa rin ni Ate Reg ang dulo (Winner! Ate Regine really hit a high note at the end too),” said Bianca Gonzales.
“Bat ganon nakakaiyak pa rin yung version ni Ate Moi kahit anong kanta, Grabe to! (Why is Ate Moira’s version of any song such a tearjerker?)” wrote a fan.
“Yung pigil na pigil yung tawa ni [Chito] (Chito is trying so hard to withhold his laughter),” another fan noted.
Honestly, one of the funniest things we’ve watched all week!
