Looks like 2019 is a busy year for Walt Disney.
This year, they have a busy schedule of Marvel, Star Wars, and live-action remakes on their hands. Then, they also have the return of Frozen.
The first trailer for Frozen 2 has arrived, giving us a glimpse at the new musical adventure that will take the fan-favorite characters far from home.
Given the musical status of the first film, there isn’t a lot of music to be heard in this one. It’s actually a more action-packed type of film that’s full of adventure and magical powers.
It just seems different than the first.
Looks like there will be new characters. Kristen Bell discussed it in an interview last year according to ComicBook:
“You’ll see new characters and you will see…you’ll know from my perspective what I did with Jen the writer, what she did with me rather, was she was so collaborative on the first one,” Bell said. “We sat down as she was writing the second one and she said ‘ya know you had a hand in creating this character. What do you think her next step should be? What’s her next hurdle, her next epiphany. What do you go through that’s similar to her?’ I told her a lot of things that I had personally been going through and why I thought that resonated with what I think Anna would be feeling and she wrote that into the script.”
What is clear from the trailer is that the group will be heading out into the world. There isn’t too much more to learn from the visuals and the movie is just called Frozen 2.
