Who here still hasn’t recovered from the pain and heartbreak brought about by ‘Avengers: Infinity War’? I know I haven’t recovered. In fact, when I hear anyone say “I am Groot” (which happens more often than you might think), I still get teary-eyed, if not angry.
Well, the trailer of the followup movie to that heart-wrenching movie has just been released, and the title has finally been revealed. Say hello to ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The trailer shows Tony Stark talking to Pepper Potts where he gives a touching speech including the saying that “part of the journey is the end”… which would be beautiful IF THINGS STILL DIDN’T HURT SO MUCH. He basically gives her the sweetest goodbye and it got me in tears. How was trailer is able to do that within the first minute is absolutely mind-boggling.
After that, we see a scene of Thanos walking through a field of flowers and Black Widow explaining what Thanos did, in case you didn’t understand it in the previous movie – that he wiped out 50% of all living creatures (okay, I didn’t know that… I thought it was just the people… this gets more painful by the second).
We then see a downcast Thor, Nebula in the shadows, and an old Avenger back in the game sporting a new haircut (it would be a lie if I said I missed him, though), as well a picture of Agent Carter in Captain America’s pocket watch(?). We are then shown a scene of Black Widow telling Captain America that “this is going to work” while he says “I know it is”. What? What is going to work??? I have so many questions
After the title of the movie is shown, we also see Scott Lang finally out of the quantum realm (how did he get out of there?!?).
(What if the Avengers Movies were Made in the 90s?)
Even without revealing any of the action, I AM ABSOLUTELY UBER EXCITED TO SEE THIS. And it looks like I’m not alone. Although only posted an hour ago, the teaser trailer already has more than 3 million views. If you still haven’t seen it, here it is:
Who else is excited for this?
