Ryan Ang is a 16-year-old basketball coach living in New Jersey. As of posting, the state has 427 COVID-19 cases. With quarantine set in place, the young trainer decided to bring his basketball coaching online.

โ€œThe coronavirus is not a joke, and it should not be taken lightly,โ€ said Ang.

โ€œUnfortunately due to the coronavirus pandemic, it was a very difficult decision to put my training to a holdโ€ฆ Iโ€™ve gotten many calls inquiring about my one-on-one and team trainings, however for safety reasons I had to turn them down, because safety come first for the athletes and myself.โ€

With the accessibility of live-streaming technology, Ang is able to teach basketball online especially to young Filipinos who may want to take a shot at the NBA someday.

The coach even waived his $25 fee.

ย โ€œIt is very vital for everyone, especially athletes to remain active, during these tough times, remaining activeย ย will help one in physical shape, as well as mentally in shape.โ€

Ang is one of the youngest basketball coaches in New Jersey.
