For 48 years, Ateneo Gabay has consistently provided support to its sectors—Atenean scholars and public elementary school students—by empowering and serving them through various educational initiatives. As part of this ongoing mission for equitable quality education, Ateneo Gabay presents W15H: The 15th Ateneo Scholars’ Week.
Ateneo Scholars’ Week is a week-long celebration that aims to honor the gift of scholarship through a series of events that target different aspects of being a scholar. These activities aim to broaden the horizons of current and aspiring scholars, embodying the ideals of hope (pag-asa) and commitment (pagtataya) for a better future.
Now in its 15th iteration, Ateneo Scholars’ Week proudly partners with the Ateneo Sanggunian Scholar Sectoral Board to present the culminating event of the celebration: a fundraising concert for a cause, W15H: Musings of the Heart. This event brings people together in support of Ateneo Gabay’s mission of providing quality education for Atenean scholars and the elementary school children from partner schools—Industrial Valley Elementary School and Holy Spirit Elementary School—through a night of festivities and music.
The upcoming concert promises to be a spectacular showcase of talent, featuring exceptional performances by Ateneo Gabay’s very own dynamic groups, Gaband and Gads, alongside the soulful sounds of Denice Lao and the dynamically engaging Daniel Paringit.
Attendees can also look forward to the genre-defying band Figvres, celebrated for their hit song Yakap, and the charming serenade of Anthony Meneses, known for his romantic hit Kusapiling. Fans will also be thrilled by the refreshing sounds of Any Name’s Okay, known for their catchy songs Clouds and Yugto; the wishful romantic tunes of Sugarcane, recognized for their nostalgic hits Leonora and Kung Maging Akin Ka; and finally, the highly anticipated Zild, famous for his crowd-favorite hits including Kyusi, Ibang Planeta, and Medisina.
