Viy Cortez went the extra mile to show her unconditional love for her patrner Cong TV as she learned to drive a motorcycle to join him in his hobbies.
In her recent vlog titled “Ladyrider,” the social media influencer shared her journey in succeeding in driving a motorcycle and surprising Cong. “Nakakatawa, hindi ko talaga inexpect na dadating ako sa point na ganito sa buhay ko,” she said.
Viy was mentored by Philippine Superbiker Champion Dashi Watanabe at the Clark International Speedway. Team Payaman members and professional riders Michael Magnata, also known as Mentos, and Adam Navea assisted her as well.
On the first day of her training, she learned to maneuver and smoothly traversed along the motorway using a small motorcycle. “Hoy ang saya sobra. Nakakaexcite sobra buti na-experience ko,” she expressed.
After buying gear and a lime green big bike, she continued her training for day two, where she struggled to drive the brand-new bike and experienced a minor mishap. Two days later, Viy even asked Cong to teach her how to drive a small motorcycle and playfully faked her motorcycle riding skills as a beginner.

Until the track day has come! The “lady rider” pulled her surprise on Cong along with the latter’s brother Junnie Boy and videographer Ephraim Abarca. They made up an anniversary event of Watanabe Riding Development (WRD) and invited Team Payaman. Motorcycling groups TP Moto Club and Y Kulba were also part of the surprise.
As Cong and the groups finished a single lap, Viy and Dashi joined them for another round. She was trying to drive beside her partner to see if she’d get noticed.
Here’s the exciting part! Viy immediately revealed herself after the ride. Of course, Cong was so shocked to see his partner, whom she knew was at the meeting.
“Sabi ko na kamukha ni Viy!” he exclaimed as he had mistaken her for Dashi’s girlfriend. Cong recalled when he was teaching Viy to drive a motorcycle, “Totoo ba? Kasi nag-aaral to sa bahay, hindi marunong umandar.”
“Ang galing mo talaga. idol kita,” he added. The couple went on a lovely ride together.
