Vice Ganda amazed netizens with his socially relevant take on the “Piliin Mo Ang Pilipinas“ trend! ICYDK, this trend was inspired by Angeline Quinto’s song of the same name, where content creators creatively showcase the country’s beauty, culture, and tradition incorporated with makeup transitions like the Asoka makeup challenge.
The Unkabogable Star took the viral challenge to the next level as he began his two-minute video with clips of treasured tourist destinations in the Philippines, followed by his makeup transitions. He even donned various stunning outfits, including a Filipiniana!
His entry gained praise for tackling relevant national issues, such as traffic congestion, the transportation crisis, the PUV modernization program, the infamous Torre de Manila behind Jose Rizal’s monument at Luneta Park, the controversial resort in Chocolate Hills, and the ongoing tensions in the West Philippine Sea.
