UP Kalilayan Launches Livestock Workshop for Alta Community

In an ongoing effort to uplift marginalized Indigenous communities, UP Kalilayan, a socio-cultural organization at the University of the Philippines Diliman, will launch its newest edition of the Neil Eria Educational Discussion Series (NEEDS) with an outreach and livestock management workshop for the Alta community in Brgy. Diteki, San Luis, Aurora.

This event, scheduled for December 20, 2024, aims to support the livelihood of the Alta community by providing practical skills and knowledge in livestock management. Through hands-on training, UP Kalilayan seeks to contribute to the sustainable development of the Alta community while raising awareness about the ongoing struggles Indigenous peoples face in the Philippines.
