After a few short months in the hands of Holly Holm, the UFC woman’s bantamweight title has been handed over to another warrior.
In UFC 196’s co-main event, No.
3 ranked Miesha Tate went toe-to-toe with No. 1 Holly Holm for her first tile defense in a five 5-minute round match.
The match lasted five rounds, with Holm surviving Tate’s attempt to take her down; but with less than 2 minutes till the end of the match, Tate got a successful tackle at the champ and Holm’s fate was sealed from there.
