Pedring has crippled power lines causing power outages and blackouts throughout Metro Manila. Pedring has also trampled roofs, trees, lampposts and even billboards.
Pedring Typhoon Signal warnings have been issued throughout the Metro Manila areas and many other provinces in the Luzon and Philippine shores.
It is recommended that you stay away from flood prone areas and that you prepare spare supplies in case power shortages affect your area for a lengthened time.

Restore in us your vision of a world made whole that we may work with those ravaged by the typhoons and landslides to build and to plant, to reap and to sow. As our memories fade and images of devastation recede, connect us with all who daily bear the scars of destruction lest we forget our brothers and sisters. Hear our prayer as we remember the homeless and hungry, the depressed and despairing, the lonely and bereaved and engender in us a spirit of solidarity that we may walk with those who watch and weep and dream with those who hope and pray.
