6. ย Immaculate Concepcion
Visit a church that started since 1872 and revel in its architecture. ย Over a century old, Puerto Princesa has been doingย a great job maintaining and preserving this beautiful landmark.
7. ย Plaza Cuartel
This is just across Immaculate Concepcion church and reeks of rich history. ย 150 American POWs were burned by Japanese soldiers in World War II here. ย This is also beside the ocean where some were able to escape and even survived to live to tell the tragic story.
ย 8. ย Kalui Restaurant
You go here for both the food and the ambiance. ย Make sure you call in beforehand for a reservation because this place is always packed. ย Just walking in (you have to leave your shoes in the front) you instantly bask in the details and knick knacks of decoration around. ย What a feast for the eyes! ย As a wedding photographer, I loved the details and had so much fun capturing the interiors in Kalui.
ย
The food was equally superb as well and service was fast. ย Kalui presents their food remarkably too. ย We had the Kaluti Special of the Day set – PhP 435 good for 2 already.
Fish Roll in Coco Cream – the flavors & texture are crazy! ย Must try.
ย Fish Steak.
ย Prawns in Butter.
ย Seaweed (Lato).
ย Fruits. ย
ย
I loved this place. ย Also how relaxed the whole dining experience was. ย I gotta attest to how clean & shiny the floors are because you get to dine barefoot!
