Top 10 Waterfalls You MUST SEE in the Philippinesย
ย
When in Manila, putting together a list of the top waterfalls in the Philippines prooves to be much harder than expected. Not due to a lack of options, but rather because the choices of natural fallsย in the country that are both impressive and accessible to us are countless. A reminder that โItโs more Fun in the Philippinesโ has much to do with the innumerable wonders of nature found locally. While there are many other waterfalls that are equally beautiful, check out our narrowed-down list of the Top 10 Waterfalls in the Philippines:
ย
10. Alalum Falls (Bukidnon, Sumilao)
The only way to describe the Alalum Falls in Sumilao is majestic. At about 148 feet, these waterfalls will have you gazing in amazement. While the journey to get there may be long, a visit to the Alalum Falls is definitely worth it.
ย
9. Mimbalot Falls (Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte, Mindanao)ย
One of many beautiful waterfalls in Iligan City, the Mimbalot Falls are great for adventure tourists. Located within the Iligan Paradise Resort and Eco Park, catch the perfect view of these waterfalls by zip lining above them.
8. Kabigan Waterfalls (Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte)
You may know Pagudpud as having one of the best white-sand beaches in the country, but the town also offers another highlight: Kabigan Falls. These beautiful waterfalls have an approximate height of 87 feet and form a natural pool for visitors to relax and swim in.

7. Tamaraw Waterfalls (Sabang, Puerto Galera, Mindoro)

If you live in Manila, the Tamaraw Waterfalls make a great weekend destination. Within an 8 mile proximity to the Puerto Galera city center, visiting the Tamaraw Falls can perfectly be combined with a beach getaway. You can book a tour that includes a guide, kayak adventure, food and transport to the falls. Several smaller waterfalls form the Tamaraw Falls and meet at the bottom to form a natural swimming pool that you can enjoy upon arrival.
ย
6. Kawasan Falls (Badian, Cebu)
Admittedly slightly biased, the Kawasan Falls in my home of Cebu are a personal favorite. Hidden in lush green rainforest, a 30-minute hike in the mountains of Badian will take you to the Kawasan Falls. Without a doubt, the turquoise waters and perfect natural surrounding will fascinate you. Once youโve taken the bamboo float to go beneath the waterfall on the first level, hike to the second and third levels to experience two more waterfalls in a different ambiance. A must-visit place when in Southern Cebu.
Why is Tinuy-an falls in Bislig, Surigao del Sur not included? For me, she’s the best falls “the Niagara falls” of the Philippines…
Aww wala ang Pasukulan Falls..
You know this listing means nothing without the majestic Tinuy-an Falls. Nothing. #prooves
Thank you for including #Kawasan Falls.
did you ever considered Asik Asik (https://www.lantaw.com/2014/07/alamada-cotabato-asik-asik-falls.html) or even Tinuy-an (https://www.lantaw.com/2012/09/bislig-tinuy-falls.html)? Then theres Aliwagwag Falls or Kaangrian Falls in Burgos, or Malabo Falls, or Buntot Palos Falls in Pangil . Some of the falls you listed won’t even be in the top 20 if you really know your Philippine waterfalls.
