Scene Stealer of the Night: Vice Ganda
Who would’ve thought wrapping yourself up with loom bands could be an outfit for an awards night? Just the one and only Vice Ganda! He definitely knows how to make a HUGE (literally) statement. Quoting Vice, “Mabigat po yung loomband ko. Pag may nakapareho pa ako ng outfit, ewan ko na lang!”
Hakot Award: Kim Chiu
This goes to the primetime princess Kim Chiu! She took home the Actress of the Year, Celebrity of the Year, Movie of the Year (for Bride for Rent), Teleserye of the Year (for Ikaw Lamang) and the Fan Club of the Year (for the KimXi fans) awards. Way to go, Kim! Well-deserved for this hard-working and really talented lady!
Best Dressed: Bea Rose Santiago and Maxene Magalona
It’s a tie! Ms. International Bea Rose Santiago looked so beautiful in her intricately-designed gown while host Maxene Magalona definitely shone in her silver glittery gown.
Best Performance: Gary and Gab Valenciano
No other than Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and his son Gab! Everyone was just grooving along to their song and dance performance. Hataw!
Most Epic Moment: Jeron and Jeric Teng
No other than.. Teng! Teng! Teng!
Yes! It’s the year of the Teng brothers, and their Selfie Challenge captured the hearts of their supporters even more. What made their segment the most epic? This:
(Jeron and Jeric onstage)
Jeric: “Since minsan lang ako nasa MOA Arena, gusto kong gawin ‘tong dream ko.”
Jeron: “Ano ba yang dream mo?”
Jeric: (singing) “Unbreak my heart, say you love me again..”
‘Nuff said.
Funniest Fan Moments
There were a LOT (especially during the purple carpet moments). These are the top three:

Sweetest Statement: Elmo Magalona
I asked Elmo what he was looking forward to that night. I couldn’t help but go, “Aww..” when he answered: “Most excited for my sister ‘cause she’s hosting tonight.”
Most Kilig Answer: Robi Domingo
A little biased here (since I’m one of his biggest fans), but I literally melted because of this conversation:
Q: “Ba’t nag-iisa ka? Ba’t wala si Gretchen?”
A: “Si Gretchen? Andito siya o (points to his heart).”
Best Surprise: Bibi Gandanghari
Okay, so this one goes to.. Bibi Gandanghari’s appearance! He joined the rest of the Padilla clan to receive their award for the Celebrity Family of the Year. One of the most memorable moments of the night.
Most Epic Award: Vicerylle
You guessed it right! The Loveteam of the Year: Vice Ganda and Karylle or the Vice-rylle! The whole MOA Arena laughed after Vice’s statement: “Nakakatawa ‘to. Nakakaloka ‘to. Hindi ko alam kung anong nasa utak nyo nung binoboto nyo kami.” When Robi teased them, “Kiss daw!” Vice’s hirit? “Si Karylle, pinayagan na yan ng kiss ni Yael. Ako po ang di pinayagan ng boyfriend ko.”
Agree or disagree? Well, all I can say is that the Yahoo Celebrity Awards is one of the best and biggest awards ceremonies ever. And since it’s powered by the fans, the fun moments never stop.
