Award-winning director Antoinette Jadaone just posted a couple of stills of her upcoming film Fan Girl starring Paulo Avelino!
This film project was first announced to the public in late February 2019 when Tonet put up a casting call for the titular role. It was later revealed that Paulo will star as the leading man. But to those who are only learning about the film for the first time, Tonet shares this reminder: “No, this ain’t a romantic comedy.”

According to the official synopsis, Fan Girl follows the story of “an obsessed teenage fan” who ends up inside the mansion of her idol, only to realize exactly why you should never meet your heroes.
It’s unclear whether the film will fall under the horror genre but, judging by the teaser photos and Paulo’s sinister look in them, it’s definitely going to be intense.
The girl who has been cast opposite Paulo is still unknown.
