Tom Rodriguez is now a dad! He confirmed the news in an interview with Nelson Canlas on November 12.

According to the actor, he’s now a father to a four-month-old baby boy named Korben, whom he called a source of his inspiration.
“I feel great. He’s my greatest source of inspiration,” he said, adding that while he prefers to keep things private, he’s always happy to talk about his baby when asked at work.
He also shared the story behind the name of his new bundle of joy, explaining that it was inspired by David’s covenant with the Lord and serves as an anagram for the word “broken.”
“It’s David’s covenant with the Lord with his broken soul, I need, brought it back [it needs to be brought back], parang binuo niya ulit (it’s like he rebuilt it), so Korben is an anagram for broken,” he added.

Tom also told the press that his non-showbiz partner, the mother of his child, is not a Filipina. However, he chose to keep the identities of both his baby and partner private.
This came days after he posted adorable sketches of a baby boy with dimples on his Instagram Stories, sparking rumors among netizens.

In March, he revealed that he was dating someone, two years after his split with his ex-wife, Carla Abellana.
