Tin Hao Dimsum: Quality Chinese Food On the Go
When in Manila and craving for some Chinese food, Tin Hao Dimsum is the perfect place to go! There are a lot of restaurants out there offering Chinese cuisine, but some of them might be too much for oneโs taste or budget. The good news is that you donโt have to look very far anymore because amid all of the ever-growing food kiosks around you, Tin Hao Dimsum now exists, as well.
Tin Hao Dimsum offers a range of rice toppings and dimsums to satisfy your appetite. The best part about their food is how they make the meat really really tender. For me, this is one of the most vital factors for my ultimate food enjoyment.
Their soy sauce chicken had a sweet sauce that complemented the chicken well.
I’m normally picky and set aside some parts when eating pork, but this Pork Belly just hit the spot. There’s only one thing I can say: it was perfectly cooked. Also, the sauce had just the right balance between sweet and salty.
The mushroom chicken, on the other hand, had this thick, yummy sauce in abundance – a really good topping for rice. With its consistency, it reminded me of an all-time favorite, maki, but this time with chicken as the meat.
The Beijing beef had huge chunks of meat, proving that even when a shop is profit-driven, they don’t actually have to cut down on the quantity or the quality of their products.
Their beef brisket adhered successfully to the classic pares famous among Filipinos. And they provide TENDER meat unlike other pares that tend to be chewy at times.
My personal favorite, though, was their Patatim. The thick sauce with a hint of sweetness really works well with the meat. Topped with the hot steamed rice? Bam! And I must say steamed rice from different restaurants are not created equal but Tin Hao Dimsum‘s rice is the perfect kind for these kinds of ulam.
With so many options to choose from, Tin Hao Dimsum proves that they can cater to different taste buds and can surely satisfy anybody’s tummy cravings! There’s more, too: they also have dimsum in the form of Pork Siomai, Beef Siomai and Dumplings.
I’m very particular with the chili sauce that goes with siomai, and I was really happy that Tin Hao Dimsum had the right classic taste for theirs.ย
Their Beef Siomai reminded me of the Beef Balls sold in the streets of Hong Kong, while the Dumplings and Pork Siomai were the classic type that you sometimes crave for out of nowhere.
They had four variants of Siopao: Bola-bola, Asado, Beef and their specialty 4-in-1. These special siopaos live true to their name – really special! I recommend the 4-in-1, though, because of its good size and because you won’t come across this kind very often.
They say, save the best for last, so I did. Their Chicken Pot Pie, only available through pre-order, is one of the BEST I have ever tasted. It practically screams “chicken overload” and is definitely worth trying! Even my parents loved it so much that they want to order another one soon. Creamy, meaty and simply delicious! With the packaging that it comes with, it also makes for a good present orย pasalubong.
We might be busy with our everyday stress from work or school, but a good meal can always ease the stress. For busy people, a take-out order from Tin Hao Dimsum will satisfy your stomach and liven up your mood. This can also be an option for busy working moms who simply don’t have time to prepare a complete meal for their kids at school. So, when in Manila, do not miss out on trying out this place for quality Chinese food.
