The entire renovation of Jerica Tracy’s room only cost her Php 5,000. She posted her room’s before and after photos which gathered 18,000 reactions on social media (as of writing) and says that she really needed to cut down the cost as much as possible because of the pandemic.
Tracy shares how she did it on her own. First, she rearranged the plywood to recreate a new bed frame.
As for the headboard, you may watch her vlog below to see how she handcrafted it!
For the mini lounge, she covered an old foam and formed it into a mini sofa. The mini table is also recycled by adding faux fur to match the theme.
The “new” aircon installed is said to be a hand-me-down that she framed with an affordable type of wood – palochina; while her so-called “Moon Mirror” is also DIY which process will be revealed soon also on her YouTube channel.

Tracy proves that renovating a room can be achieved without spending too much money. Now, she can make full use of her space especially since we will be spending more time at home.
