One bar from Makati made it to the “Asia’s 50 Best Bars” list.
The Curator ranked number 34 on the list.
According to 50 Best, which created the list, “This excellent hostelry, once known as The Curator Coffee and Cocktails and now, simply, The Curator, is dedicated to two of the very finest things in life: caffeinated beverages and mixed drinks.”

It added, “The coffee is taken in the space up front, a bright-and-breezy area with an excellent range of coffees from across the Asian region. The suitably impressive cocktails are served in an intimate back room. The understated bar plays host to a regular schedule of global bartender takeovers and majors in Filipino spirits. A beautifully designed cocktail menu is filled with fun descriptions, a flavour map and, crucially, a credit for the bartender who invented them.”
Its line of coffees includes classics like the espresso and cold brew, and one-of-a-kind blends like the champorado latte and the Shake-O What-O, which has espresso, cold brew coffee, milk, and coco syrup.
Meanwhile, its cocktails include the Sweet Child of Mine, which features seasonal Curator liqueur and prosecco; and the Bamboo Forest, which combines Tanqueray, lemon, Midori, a house blend herb liqueur, maraschino, Absinthe, and sparkling wine.

The Curator is a consistent entry in the Asia’s 50 Best Bars list since 2016. It was ranked the Philippines’ best bar in 2019, 2021, and 2023.
It is located in 34 Legaspi Street, Legazpi Village, Makati.
