A new luxury hotel brand has re-opened in the Philippines, and it’s set to be one of the most sought-after hotels in Metro Manila. The Westin Manila just opened its doors to the public this March in Mandaluyong City.

We got to check out The Westin Manila at its grand opening, and we had such an unforgettable experience.
Room Highlight: Westin’s Heavenly® Bed
The Westin Manila has 303 rooms, including 57 suites. Their Deluxe Guest Room is quite spacious, and it includes a walk-in wardrobe, a 55-inch TV, a Nespresso machine with free pods, and a separate bathtub and shower room with a gorgeous view of the Manila skyline.
The space and amenities of the room were definitely enough to offer a relaxing stay, but one of its biggest highlights was the plush Heavenly® Bed, a Westin-exclusive bed designed to give you one of the best sleeps you could ever have!
Personally, I couldn’t get enough of the Heavenly® Bed. Fair warning: you might never want to get up from this bed, so plan your day accordingly. *wink wink*
A Gastronomic Experience at Seasonal Tastes
The Westin Manila’s in-house restaurant, Seasonal Tastes, offers a gastronomic food experience for guests thanks to the sumptuous creations of Executive Chef Rej Casanova.
Every Friday and Saturday night, you can enjoy their Seafood Dinner Buffet, which is definitely one of the more premier seafood dinner buffets we’ve enjoyed. They have sustainably-sourced fresh seafood cooked into some of the most delicious dishes we’ve tried. There’s a Seafood Hotpot station, a Seafood Boil Station, a Poke Bowl Station, and Chilled Sustainable Seafood on Ice with prawns, crabs, mussels, and clams.
On the weekdays, guests can enjoy a lunch buffet at Seasonal Tastes, which includes Asian and Western dishes, dim sum, hotpot, and an amazing carving station with mouthwatering meats. There’s also a farm-to-table salad station, staying true to Seasonal Tastes’ vision of serving sustainable food to its guests.
A Holistic Wellness Experience
The Westin Manila aims to provide guests with above and beyond just a comfy bed to sleep in or great food to enjoy. They also provide opportunities for guests to play, revitalize, and relax with their world-class amenities.
The gorgeous 25-meter pool offers a tropical oasis in the middle of the Ortigas CBD. To make sure that everyone can enjoy their stay, there’s also a kiddie pool and a jacuzzi. For the adults, the Pool Bar is definitely another thing to look forward to.
The Westin Manila is also home to the WestinWORKOUT® Fitness Studio with its complete range of workout equipment. You can even borrow some equipment to use in the privacy of your room!
Soon, they’re opening the Heavenly Spa by Westin™ which will offer sensory spa experiences that are perfect for physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. There will be 4 individual rooms with private showers and a couple’s room with a jacuzzi.
Relaxation Even for Your Fur Baby
Probably one of the most exciting amenities of The Westin Manila for any pet owner is its being pet-friendly. They can accommodate a maximum of two small dog breeds for each room.
