The BIG BANQUET: The Top Caterers in Manila All Under One Roof!
When In Manila and you have a special event coming to celebrate a big occasion, let’s say a debut, an anniversary party, an engagement or even bigger — a wedding! We would all agree that it is much better if there’s great food served, right? And for the people behind all the planning and the preparations, picking the best caterer for your special event could be tasking, stressful and frustrating at times since you have to go through each caterer’s tasting menu to experience their service and food.
But thank goodness that Anton Diaz of Our Awesome Planet together with The Blue Leaf Group came up of the idea of THE BIG BANQUET, wherein the Top Caterers in Manila are situated all together in one place to showcase the best of what they can offer — from setup to service and the most important, their menu. The Big Banquet isn’t just a simple get together of the best caterers in town, it is a battle of who’s deserving to be part of someone’s next big event or occasion.
We are each given a score card wherein we would rate the menu served by the caterers, just like how it goes with the Taste Test series also organized by the same team.
We were lucky to be there to try out the best offerings of Manila’s 11 top caterers! Here are photos of the lovely pinterest-y table setups and the scrumptious food overload that we had! Imagine a 3-course meal multiplied by 11! Crazy, right? It was definitely a big feast, it was impossible for us to go through all the caterers’ stations! Probably because we stayed too long on one station and savored our food too much! Haha! I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed the Big Banquet!

By this time, we were already in a rush as we only have less than an hour left but let me just say how much I loved Juan Carlo’s Salmon with Tequila Cream Sauce! YUM!

I’m pretty sure the one-day eat fest helped a lot of couples who are soon to be married and those whose hands are tied on preparing for their big event.
