Sushi Nori: Satisfy Your Sushi Cravings in SM Megamall

Sushi Nori is finally in Megamall! I’ve been waiting for their “near North, but somewhere in EDSA” branch for a while now. Since I’m a bit lazy when it comes to travelling (especially due to EDSA traffic), though, the newly opened branch is very convenient for me.

Sushi Nori is owned by mother-and-daughter duo Sheila and Milka Romero. Located at SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall, the place is in-between the busy food court and the more intimate restaurants, making it more convenient to order take-out. The cardboard packaging makes it easy to carry around, whether you’re going home by car or even by taking the MRT – great if you’re looking for pasalubong for mom and dad, or your siblings.

The playful concept also makes sushi so much more fun to eat! Plus, not only do they make really, really good sushi and maki; they’re also very budget-friendly! Japanese food lovers will love the variety that Sushi Nori offers. OMG Sushi, salmon topped with ebiko, spring onion and aburi sauce, is my current favorite! Just look how tasty it looks! I also love the way they prepared it; the making of their blow-torched salmon is very fun to watch.

Their sushi also comes in two shapes: the traditional Sushi Roll, bite-sized and for sharing; and the Temaki Handroll, which looks a lot like a Sushi Burrito. It’s easy to carry around while shopping too. I’m also in love with Sushi Dreams, kani and salmon in cream cheese topped with tempura flakes.

So, if you’re craving for to-go sushi on your next shopping spree, try dropping by Sushi Nori. I’m sure you won’t regret it!
