When In Manila, going to Bohol is really a MUST DO! Bohol has another reason to attract tourists — a 480 meter zip line with a name you won’t forget!
I wrote about the Bungee Swing Plunge the other day, which was the most adrenalin pumping ride I’ve been on recently! Check out the video on that Bungee Swing Plunge – https://www.wheninmanila.com/bungee-swing-plunge-at-danao-adventure-park-bohol-philippines/
Well, here’s the other really fun extreme ride you can take at the Danao Extreme Adventure Park. It’s so extreme… the name would freak you out!
It’s called the Sui-Slide Zip Line at the Danao Adventure Park in Bohol!
The Suislide is basically a zip-line consisting of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline cliff. The Suislide has two lines, going forth and back. Its starting point is parallel to the Sky Ride and Plunge’s height.
Suislide is the local version for zipline, a sky ride or a slide for life. Sui-slide is coined from the word, “Suis“ (the sound of the cable ride once you get to slide) and “slide”. It could also mean for some who is so much petrified with heights to be a suicidal slide. It traverses around half a kilometer from one mountain to another, taking you to less than a minute exhilarating ride…
Sui-Slide Zipline Bohol: Highest / Tallest and one of the Longest Zip Line in the Philippines
At 480 meters long and with an altitude of 200 meters, the Suislide is both the highest and longest zipline in the Philippines. It’s an exciting cross mountain zipline that will definitely shoot your adrenaline up in the air. We don’t know why they called it “Sui-Slide” but it definitely rhyme with “suicide.” It would be a treat for extreme sports enthusiasts.
The new attraction is part of the “Eco/Extreme Adventure Tour” (or shortened to EAT Danao), with activities like wall climbing and river kayaking which is being promoted by the municipality of Danao, Bohol. It is definitely a welcome addition to the usual Bohol Day Tour.
To go there, you can hire a shuttle (van) or go to the Integrated Bus Terminal(IBT) for a bus ride going to Danao. The IBT is located a stone-throw away from the Island City Mall in Tagbilaran City. You’ll have to travel for around 30-45 minutes from the city.

Sui-Slide Zip Line Bohol: Tallest / Highest and one of the Longest Ziplines in the Philippines
Oh thanks for the heads up guys! We actually just followed what their press release said about being the tallest and longest zip. I guess they never updated it.
Thanks again for the info
uhhh vince… this ain’t the longest in the philippines.
dahilayan has 840m.
misibis bay has 600m.
xcelerator in davao is the longest speed zipline in asia at 720m
but danao is coming up with their 1.5km zipline… now they would be the longest by that time. 🙂
i thought yung sa Bukidnon ang longest in Asia? anyway, mukhang masrap din i-try yan… thank u for sharing… =D
i wouldn’t say it’s the longest zipline in the Philippines because there’s the 840m zipline in Bukidnon; when you go to Cagayan de Oro. In Dahilayan Adventure park. but then again 480 meter is not bad at all 🙂
