Gamora, ever so full of hatred of her adoptive father, a.k.a, the main antagonist of the film, Thanos – meets her death when the latter threw her at the edge of a cliff as a sacrifice for the Soul Stone. It’s a personal, selfish gain for Thanos. What would have happened if her beloved Starlord turned right? Would things have changed?
Well, this pal of ours says nothing but those three words, but it has been confirmed by Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn that Groot‘s last words meant “daddy”.

Heimdall was one of the most loyal Asgardians. His devotion to Asgard has been evident throughout the Thor films. After that painful pierce in the chest from the ever evil Thanos, he finally accepts his fate and succumbs.
Loki meets his demise after further angering Thanos with his last words. It was also a sad sight for Thor to see another close person to his heart meet their unfortunate fate. The god of mischief may have been gone early on for the first part of the film, but hey – what are the tricks up his sleeves? Who knows? Loki is no stranger to meeting his life’s end. Maybe we’d see him up, about and alive in the Part II of Infinity War next year.
Scarlet Witch proved to possess one of the strongest powers of psionics, levitation, telekinesis and mental manipulation. The death of her twin brother, Quiksilver, during The Avengers: Age of Ultron was enough for her to seek avenge and justice herself in Civil War. Losing her beloved Vision was another tough blow.
Vision may have displayed a strong and mighty facade as a hero, but he surely has a soft spot for his beloved Scarlet Witch. Unfortunately, two birds hit the stone that is the (emotional) heart of Wanda Maximoff, where Thanos maximizes the Time Stone to restore the Infinity Stone in his head (plus Vision himself). Finally, he crushes Vision’s head in his hands, taking the stone. It’s a gruesome way to die, honestly.
