I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again: I <3 Cebu!
Cebu has always been one of my favorite PH destinations. ย Everytime I visit, I end up exploring a part of the region I’ve never been before.ย There is just so much to see and do in the province that one trip is never enough!ย Last January marked my 4th time thereย and after exploring the southern part last June, I decided to head North. Next stop was Bantayan Island!
When we got there, the first order of business was checking into the Sta. Fe Ogtong beach Resort. What greeted usย was a serene view! The resort was a sprawling compound equipped with two pools, a beautiful and accessible beach front, and even a restaurant.

There are so many things that you can do on the island. On the first day, we were all set to discover what Bantayan had to offer. We ended upย island hopping:

The highlight of myย trip, however, remains to be our time at the Ogtong Cave. Said cave is located inside the the resort we were staying at! An unassuming stairwell in the garden leads to a cave with the clearest water.

Honestly, I never thought I’d ever enjoy swimming in a cave that much but I did – so much.
