When in Manila, it’s time once again for the annual and much-awaited Metro Manila Film Festival—showcasing a number of movies that never fail to entertain the public every Christmas season. This year, GMA Films produced two entries, one of which is Sosy Problems—starring “It” girls (two happen to be my girl crushes): Rhian Ramos, Solenn Heussaff, Bianca King, and Heart Evangelista.

Sosy Problems talks about four popular and wealthy girls who are used to the glamorous life, but are compelled to step out of their comfort zones as they face the struggles and differences thrown upon them. Rhian Ramos plays Lizzie, the group’s self-appointed leader who is the spoiled daughter of a successful hotelier. Bianca King is Danielle, the daughter of a politician who is in the process of an impeachment therefore all their assets are frozen. Margaux, played by Solenn Heussaff, and Claudia, played by Heart Evangelista, both daughters of rival beauty queens—are frenemies fighting over the same boy, played by Aljur Abrenica. Other hunks to look out for are Mikael Daez who plays Santi, and Alden Richards who plays Inigo.
