The iconic fantaserye of GMA has been a part of nearly everyone’s lives, whether you are a millennial or a tita and tito of Manila who got addicted to the series as a fresh graduate. So when the network announced that there will be a remake, everyone got very excited to see the fantaserye again. We all couldn’t wait to see the new cast members, the new plot, and the fantastic new costumes. Now that all that has been revealed there has been a growing interest to know more about the supporting castmembers who have developed quite a following with their fans especially online. So here is a quick slam book session with the cast of Encantadia!
Kate Valdez as Mira
One of the new faces in showbiz, Kate, at her young age, already has an actress that she looks up to. The pretty actress says she looks up to award-winning actress Jacklyn Jose. When asked about her personal struggles after taking on the role, Kate has admitted that she was nervous to have a love team in Encantadia in the character of Anthony who is played by MigoAdecer. Aside from being in showbiz, she also has dreams of entering the bequty queen circuit and being the Pia Wurtzbach, and she has even gotten a thumbs up from established beauty queens! From a recent photo shoot with celebrity photographer Doc Marlon Pecjo, beauty queen Venus Raj actually saw Kate’s beauty queen potential and said that Kate should join BinibiningPilipinas.
Avery Paraiso as Khalil
With his charming smile, girls are already swooning over this showbiz newbie called Avery Paraiso. But he is out to prove that he is more than just a pretty face, Avery wants to be unique and successful and stand out from the crowd through innate his charm and talent. Well, as early as now, the half-American cutie, who was first sighted as one of the top 14 finalists of Starstruck Season 6 hes already got some big shoes to fill and a lot of encouragement along the way. The original Khalil, played by Jake Cuenca, told Avery that the role brought him success. We are definitely looking forward to Avery’s next projects and how he will become even more successful.
James Teng as Pako
James Teng, who plays Pako in Encantadia, is very special in the sense that his character wasn’t in the original show but was made for him in the remake, His character is fun and playful and his sidekick is Wantuk played by BuboyVillar. James is only 18 and the role wasn’t in the original show but it was made for him for the remake. In his slam book he mentioned that he can twerk! Wow, we are really curious to see his twerking skills in person!
Migo Adecer as Anthony
Celebrating his birthday this December, Migo is one of the members of the cast that turned heads in Encantadia. Winning from StarStruck along with fellow Ultimate Female Survivor Klea Pineda, Migo grew up in Australia where he was actually a part of Glee Australia. He loves acting, music and he can beatbox! Truly a talented guy!
Mikee Quintos as Lira
This gorgeous lady whom we ranked as one of the must-follow celebrities on instagram, had proven herself when it comes to fashion and acting. Regarding her approach to playing Lira on Encantadia, Lira said she gave her character a touch of the real her, but she also considered and added additional touches the character portrayed by Jennylyn Mercado. So what’s in store for Mikee after Encantadia? She will be venturing into music because she isn’t just beautiful, she is talented too- she can play some rad musical instruments.
Yuan Francisco as Paopao
The youngest and cutest of the bunch, I must say. Yuan, the 6 year old boy from Encatadia is simply irresistible. Yuan, who was discovered in a mall is the keeper of the fifth gem. Many were shocked as the character transformed into Rodjun Cruz and judging from the episodes ive seen, this kid can surely act! Aside from his cute smile, his acting is very convincing, so convinving you will find yourself saying “boom boom PAO”.
