SEVENTEEN’s Woozi moved many K-pop fans as he released a solo track, “What Kind of Future,” to fulfill his promise to the late K-pop idol Moonbin. The song was released on ASTRO member’s birthday, January 26.

Woozi previously shared the song with CARATs, emphasizing its significance to him. Moonbin expressed love and appreciation for “What Kind of Future” upon hearing it. With that, the SEVENTEEN member promised to release it as a special gift on the latter’s birthday.
Prior to this, SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan paid tribute to Moonbin on his birthday on January 16 with a song cover of Choi Yu-ree’s “Shape” and a heartwarming self-edited music video featuring their moments together.

Moonbin passed away on April 2023. He was 25.
