Sarah Geronimo urged her followers to help Typhoon Carina victims as she marked her 36th birthday on July 25.
On Instagram, she shared pubmats about donation drives, emergency hotlines, flood safety tips, and photos of rescuers from respective media outlets. The actress-singer emphasized that her heart goes to everyone affected by the typhoon.

“Thankful for the gift of life and for everyone who has made my journey colorful and special,” she captioned her post.
“As I celebrate my birthday and blow out my candles, my heart also goes out to those affected by Typhoon Carina. Ipinagdarasal ko po lahat ng ating mga kababayang nasalanta ng bagyo at ngayon ay sinusubukang makabangon muli [I’m praying for all our countrymen who were devastated by the typhoon and are now trying to get back on their feet].”
She then expressed gratitude to the rescue teams who continuously assist typhoon victims, including pets and stray animals.
Sarah also commended pet owners who didn’t abandon their pets despite the heavy rain and massive floods, noting she has much respect for them.
“Nakakabilib at nakaka-inspire po ang serbisyo, katapangan, at kabutihang-loob na walang sawa niyong binibigay. Kayo ang mga tunay na superheroes ng mundo na ito. Maraming maraming salamat [The service, courage, and generosity you tirelessly provide is unbelievable and inspiring. You are the real superheroes of this world. Thank you very much],” she added.

Metro Manila was placed under a state of calamity as Typhoon Carina hit the country on July 24.
