Sarah Geronimo was recently awarded Spotify’s Top Equal Philippines Artist for 2022.
On social media, the singer said, “Thank you very much Spotify for awarding me as the Top Equal Philippines Artist for the year 2022. Thank you very much to everyone who has streamed my music. Maraming maraming salamat po, Popsters. Thank you, Spotify.”
She added in the caption, “Excited to share more music this 2023!”

Spotify’s Equal campaign celebrates women artists from around the world.
Geronimo was EQUAL PH’s ambassador for October 2022 and was featured on a billboard in New York City. She said, “Thank you so much @SpotifyPH for this opportunity! So honored to be EQUAL PH’s ambassador for October. Keep streaming the Spotify EQUAL PH playlist, and let’s continue to celebrate women, no matter the day!”
Geronimo took a showbiz hiatus after getting married to Matteo Guidicelli in 2020. In 2022, she released the songs “Dati-Dati,” “Cuore,” and “Sansinukob, Salamat.”
