Ateneo Celadon welcomes the start of the holiday season by opening the doors to Santa’s Attic on November 6, 2021. This year’s theme is 12 Nights Before Christmas, which aims to promote love, generosity, and excitement even amidst the pandemic.
Santa’s Attic is Ateneo Celadon’s biennial Christmas Bazaar that’s meant to spread the joy of gift-giving while also providing an opportunity for burgeoning businesses to be exposed to new customers. Now in its fifth year, it is usually held in Ayala Feliz Mall, but this year marks the first time it will operate fully online.
Like most businesses that have been affected by the pandemic, Santa’s Attic has also moved its shop catalogue online to a customized website. The website features a user-friendly design, which allows shoppers to browse through the products without having to deal with the maddening crowds of the Christmas rush. The products offered range from jewelry, cosmetics, gadgets, and food vouchers, so you’ll definitely find a suitable gift for your family, friends, significant others, or even for yourself. Catch out exclusive concessionaires on the said event such as Chichi Glows, Commune Picks, Dusty Box Co., FICKLE PH, Frankie’s in Style, Godel Chocolates, Kuku’s Baked Goodies, La Belle Ame, North South Coffee, Pegs and Beyond, Sage and Ivory, Silvanas Las Pinas, Súlú Intention Candles, The Barre House, and The Yellow Kitchen! You can easily purchase these products using various payment channels like Gcash, Paymaya, and bank transfers, and as an added bonus, your orders will also be delivered straight to your recipient’s doorstep.
As a way of promoting the shop, Santa’s Attic also has certain gimmicks, starting with the Santa’s Sho-ho-ho-down to be held on November 18 and 19, 2021. The Sho-ho-ho-down is a Christmas-themed Minecraft event, where participants would team up and compete in mini-games to win certain prizes. It’s followed by the Secret Santa program, which keeps the tradition of exchanging gifts alive even online. In addition, there is also the 12 Days Before Christmas Highlights, which is a series of social media posts that would spotlight certain products or details about the shop to generate buzz. There is also Santa’s Helpers, which is a team of Atenean and non-Atenean volunteers who would help promote Santa’s Attic by sharing social media posts and providing affiliate links.
Of course, the spirit of gift-giving wouldn’t be complete without giving back to charity, so Santa’s Attic also launched The Christmas Village, which is a donation drive for shoppers who wish to help bring joy to Ateneo Celadon’s partner communities. Depending on the amount they donate, shoppers would be able to put up a personalized banner on the virtual Christmas Village. A portion of the shop’s earnings will be donated to the partner communities as well.
