In an Instagram post, Sandara shared photos from her 40th birthday celebration with fellow 2NE1 members CL, Minzy, and Park Bom.
“Thank you 2NE1,” she wrote. “I love you~!!!”
The K-pop star also shared photo booth photos of herself and Minzy across her social media pages, saying: “There was some trial and error before I could take the pictures myself.”

Before rising to fame as a K-pop idol, Sandara Park was a contestant on the Philippine talent show Star Circle Quest in 2004. A few years later, she returned to South Korea and debuted as a member of 2NE1, which is widely regarded as one of the most popular girl groups in the world.
As one of the leading names in both the K-pop and Philippine entertainment industries, the 40-year-old K-pop idol has endorsed major brands such as Balmain, Calvin Klein, Adidas, Penshoppe, and more. She also released a self-titled extended play (EP) in 2023.
Fans, or BLACKJACKs, worldwide were thrilled when 2NE1 announced their group concert as part of their 15th debut anniversary. The group’s highly-anticipated reunion concert in Seoul last October, which marked their first full-group performance in over a decade, sold out immediately.
The celebration continues for Filipino BLACKJACKs as 2NE1 will hold their two-day sold-out shows at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 16 and 17, 2024.
