His announcement shocked many listeners of the popular radio talk showย Boys Night Out, which he co-hosts alongside Tony Toni and Slick Rick, with Gino Quillamor, Jojo the Love Survivor, and Tin Gamboa (also known as DJ Suzy).ย

In a separate Instagram post, Sam clarified his decision to resign from the radio station and program, “Just to be clear.. Walang nag-away. Walang magkagalit.”

Without disclosing his upcoming plans, Sam mentioned that it pains him to leaveย Boys Night Out, but he’s excited about “what’s ahead.” He revealed that he’ll stay until November this year, and jokingly denied joining Vivamax.

“Growth is often uncomfortable, messy, and full of feelings you weren’t expecting. But it’s necessary,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Tin and Slick Rick sent their well wishes to Sam through social media posts.ย

“He’ll be on til November but I’ll save that post til that day comes. But for now, let’s just sit back and enjoy the time we got left on air. That doesn’t mean you’ll never see us as a group again, maybe you’ll catch us hosting as a group, doing things online and much much more!” Slick Rick wrote.
