Sam YG Marks Last Show on Magic 89.9 After 17 Years

Sam YG officially bid farewell to Magic 89.9 after over 17 years. On Tuesday, November 21, he marked his last show on the popular radio talk showย Boys Night Out, which he announced on social media with the caption, “Every goodbye becomes a line between memories and life.”

In this post, he looked back on his journey as a radio host by writing a heartfelt message and sharing photos of him and his co-hosts, Tony Toni, Slick Rick, Gino Quillamor, and Tin Gamboa through the years.

“I consider myself lucky to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard. Though the feeling may be bittersweet, it has been an amazing 17-year journey but we must accept the end of something in order to begin to start something new,” he wrote.

He went on by thanking his radio partners, Tony Toni, Slick Rick, and Quillamor, “You guys have always been there thru the highs and lows. You’ve seen me grow from a college kid to who I am today. I will forever be grateful for all the lessons you have taught me.”
