Sam Milby has officially confirmed that he and Catriona Gray have broken up, ending the year-long speculations about their split.

Sam confirmed the real score of their relationship with ABS-CBN News. Although they have already broken up, he affirmed that everything is “okay” between him and the Miss Universe 2018 titleholder.
“If you want to ask if we are okay, we are okay,” he said.
He stated: “Kami ni Cat (Cat and I), we’ve always been private about our relationship… We share certain things nung na-engaged kami (when we were engaged), but in terms of the details, and buhay namin (our life), we haven’t really shared.”
However, the actor clarified that there was no third party involved in their split.
“There was never a third party sa amin ni Cat. That needs to be cleared. There is no truth to it at all,” he said.
“It makes me sad, may babala ako sa mga tao (I have a warning to everyone). Please mag-ingat kayo sa mga nakikita nyo sa online (be careful to everything you are seeing online). If there’s no evidence, ‘wag niyong paniwalaan yung nakikita nyo (don’t believe everything you see) because in this incident, there’s absolutely no truth to it at all,” he added.
After sparking dating rumors in January 2019, they went public with their relationship in May 2020.
In February 2023, the ex-couple revealed that they were engaged. However, speculations about their breakup surfaced when keen-eyed netizens spotted that the beauty queen was no longer wearing her engagement ring at public events.
Soon after, Cornerstone Entertainment, the talent management agency that represents both figures, confirmed that they were “facing some challenges in their relationship.” Despite this, they were “actively working on resolving these issues together.”
