Infinity Resort is the most luxurious getaway in Puerto Galera (see the Top 10 reasons why you should check out this resort here).
In celebration of their first year anniversary last May 2014, they launched the Malasimbo Spa that is inspiredย by the ethnic Mangyan tribes in Mindoro. This is the first of its kind in Puerto Galera with its name taken from the Majestic Mt. Malasimbo of Oriental Mindoro which is just right in front of this spa’s doorstep.ย
This 300 square meter spa house features a lot of rooms and services; though the first noticeable feature would have to be its wonderful architecture and interior design which is akin to the Infinity Resort.ย Wooden, modern, and posh.
Right after the lobby, you will be greated by Puerto Galera’s first fish spa (which everyone loved to try during the launch!). This treatment is said to promote blood circulation and facilitates in the regeneration of healthy skin given the help of these small fishes that are calledย doctor fish or garra rufa. They simply slough on dead skin by nibbling on your feet. It’s definitely not painful, bet reaaally ticklish! Once you get used to it though, it becomes very relaxing in an odd but good way.
Other than this, the spa has enough female and male treatment rooms for massage services that have sauna, bathtubs, and shower rooms.
Butย depending on the service that you avail (such as the ‘Whirlpool with Jet Hydromassage’), you can even experience their Hydrojet Jacuzzi! It targets the neck, back, and shoulder toย stimulate your body and revive sluggish circulation.
Meanwhile, if you’re rather up for a foot massage or a manicure/pedicure, Malasimbo Spa has a separate treatment room specifically for this.
I recommend that you try out their ‘Malasimbo Foot Bliss‘ service for this! It will be aย combination of their ‘Cooling Foot Spa‘ followed by a Hand & Foot Reflexology Massage. The products that are to be used hereย are:
