The Plaza Cafe is a standout among all the other foodie spots in the area. A cafe that serves hefty servings of great-tasting and hefty sandwiches that can satisfy your taste buds and your tummy, Plaza Cafe will be your next favorite place when you need a break from the everyday carb-overload of eating.
Their sandwiches are proportioned properly; the right thickness of the bread, toasted to crisp perfection, and the fillings, generous but won’t leave you feeling guilty (yes, it’s quite healthy!). Though it can get a bit messy, each bite is enjoyable and delicious.
One dinner night out with my girls, we tried some of their bestselling sandwiches. Here’s what we had!
Chicken Club
For chicken lovers, this sandwich is for you! The chicken chunks has a cilantro taste; not so much smothered in mayo, its veggies and bacon didn’t lose their crispiness.
Turkey Stack
The avocado inside is a surprise. It gives off some sweetness that’s enjoyable and, with it, savor the meaty taste of turkey, bacon, tomato, and cheese.
Turkey and Brie
What we loved about this sandwich is it’s actually on the sweeter side. All the fillings go well together! We totally enjoyed every bite. One of our favorites!
Pastrami on Rye
For the ultimate meat lover, this will be your bestfriend. Not a fan of veggies? Satisfy your carnivorous being with this tasty, all-meat treat. Its bread is a bit more toasted than others, which gives more flavor to its already smoky taste.
New England Classic
It may look slim, but don’t be fooled. Inside is an explosion of cheesiness and turkey flavor with fresh lettuce! Its cranberry bread adds charm to the great mix.
Chestnut Hill
The barbecue sauce will leave you speechless. It’s kind of overwhelming the meat but was contrasted with light cheese and red onions. Yum!
Every sandwich comes with a sidings of potato chips. Aside from sandwiches, they also offer pasta and other meals. Better go and check it out yourself!
Pizookie
Never leave without ordering this oh-so-good baby. Their pizookie is freshly made upon request, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The warm, thick, moist cookie is already a winner, but try it with the cool ice cream and it’s the bomb!
While you enjoy your sandwiches, you can spend time and hang out here too, as Plaza Café also let’s its guests play with their board games!
