Piolo Pascual revealed that he has been happily embracing singlehood for 13 years. In an interview with Toni Gonzaga on Toni Talks, the actor shared how he has been enjoying being single for over a decade.

When asked about his love life, he playfully replied, “May love life ba ako? Di ko na alam yung love life eh (Do I have a love life? I don’t even know what love life is anymore).”
Recalling a quote from a pastor, Piolo said, “The more you stay single, the more you’re gonna enjoy it, the more you’re not going to look for it.”
The Mallari actor then revealed that he has been single for 13 consecutive years, emphasizing that he is currently more focused on his career.
“Love life ko talaga yung trabaho ko eh (My love life is my career),” he reiterated.
Toni also asked Piolo if he wasn’t open to a full-on commitment, to which he responded, “Not for now. I mean, you know, I’m at a point in my life… busy pa ako sa career ko (I’m still busy with my career). I love being single. I don’t see the point of being with someone, especially now, because I’m so busy with work.”
He added, “I’m always with friends. I’m always with my family. And it’s not something that, you know, I look for because nasanay na eh (I got used to it).”

Despite his contentment with being single, Piolo shared the qualities he looks for in a potential future partner, should he ever find love again.
“Christian muna (First of all, Christian),” he noted. “Family-oriented. Siyempre dapat yung mabait (Of course, she should be kind), hindi yung (not someone) full of herself, hindi rin yung (not all about) me, myself and I.”
In an interview with Ogie Diaz in June 2023, the actor mentioned that he’s still open to finding love when he gets a bit older.
