Mark your calendars! PAVE Philippines, a leading organization supporting abuse survivors, is gearing up for a momentous occasion – their 1st Anniversary Celebration!
The festivities kick off on November 15th and run through the 17th at MAYFLOWER PARKING, GREENFIELD DISTRICT. Get ready for a Celebrity Wellness Weekend packed with fun, empowerment, and activities for the whole family (furry friends included!).
Kicking off the festivities is a heart-melting Pet Pawty on November 15th. Join PAVE Philippines and doggo for a day filled with adorable canine companions you can meet, pet, and cuddle. Throughout the entire weekend, immerse yourself in Filipino creativity by checking out the art exhibit featuring the works of talented artists YUOZEI, CABNOV, and Humbly.
Feeling empowered is a key theme of the event. On November 16th, learn valuable self-defense skills from expert Janice Hung in her class. This is a fantastic opportunity to feel confident in your ability to protect yourself. (Slots are limited, so sign up now!) Later that day, find inspiration from Ayn Bernos, a triathlete and content creator, as she shares her inspiring journey of overcoming adversity as a survivor in her talk “100 Days of Showing Up.” Model and philanthropist Kat Alano will also speak on “Disrupting the Status Quo,” where she discusses the importance of speaking out against abuse and challenging victim-blaming.
On November 17th, unwind and find balance with a yoga class led by actress Maxene Magalona. Spots are limited, so register quickly! Clinical psychologist Rea Villa will then delve into the connection between physical activity and mental well-being in her talk “The Power of Flow.” The event culminates with a powerful story from PAVE Philippines founder and chairwoman Phoebe Fructuoso. Witness her journey from a survivor of sexual abuse to a champion advocate for all survivors.
Don’t forget to bring your shopping bags as there would be an all-weekend Celebrity Bazaar and Carboot Sale (from 4 PM to Midnight)
