A lot of people love Spongebob SquarePants, but this announcement is for all of the people who love his pink and positive co-star. Yes, it looks like Patrick Star is getting a spin-off show! According to Deadline, Nickelodeon is currently finalizing the deals for what will be known as ‘The Patrick Star Show’.
‘The Patrick Star Show’ is set to have 13 episodes and will be a sitcom that focuses on Patrick’s family and his new job as a late night talk show host. There will be a new cast of characters to look forward to, as well, though we are very happy to hear that Bill Fagarbakke will still voice Patrick. We can apparently also look forward to cameos from other favorites from ‘Spongebob SquarePants’! Yay!
