With its pristine and calm waters, and its picturesque backdrop of the sea, The Bellevue Resort in Panglao Island, Bohol boasts a wonderful choice for an island getaway.
One beautiful September morning, I arrived in The Bellevue Resort Bohol. The sun is shining hotย andย the temperature is just warm right. One can say that it feels like summer in September. And I didn’t mind.
As I’ve learned, Bohol offers an almost perfect weather all year round. It rarely rains in the province, which makes it suitable for a summer holiday. The sun’s shining rays, the blue sky, and the soft breeze confirmed this. Instantly, I was on vacation mode. I couldn’t wait to explore the lovely vicinity of The Bellevue Resort Bohol. I found it exciting even in solitude.
Panglao Island is about 30 to 45 minutes from Bohol’s main gateway, the Tagbilaran Airport. The island is extremely accessible as cabs, vans, and tricycles can be rented to and from it. You can alsoย commute the long (but cheaper) way but since it’s a vacation, spending a little on the transfer won’t hurt.
The Bellevue Resort Bohol is popular to honeymooners, families, and travelers who want toย enjoy some peace and quiet. Unlike the area of Alona Beach, Bellevue keeps a more serene vibe where people can have an escape from the hustle and bustle of life in general.
When I arrived the resort, I was checked in pretty quickly. I was given a glass of cold welcome drink that soothed the travel. Then, I was led to my room. It was on the fifth floor andย had a beautiful view of the beach front. I had a few minutes to freshen up and then I was told that lunch is served.
My hotel room was pretty big for a solo traveler. Right beside the huge bed big for one is a cozy couch that you can lounge on. The room also has a spacious bathroom, which has a rain shower and a large bathtub.
The Bellevue Resort Bohol occupies 3.5 hectares of property with beachfront and has 155 guestrooms. It has 76 Deluxe Rooms, 60 Deluxe Ocean View, 11 Junior Suite, two Premier Suite, five Bellevue Suite, and one Presidential Suite.
For foodie travelers, dining at Marea is must. It is highly recommended to have a meal there and have a taste ofย their famous Boholano dishes. I enjoyed the Halang-Halang Chicken, which is native chickenย cooked with chili, ginger, turmeric, garlic, and annato oil. The spicy kick in this dish is remarkable.
Their ginormous Brazo de Mercedes is worth the calories. It may be sinful but I finished two plates during my stay.
The trip to The Bellevue Resort Bohol included a snorkeling tour in Balicasag Island, a lot of restful sleep, tons of emo moments by the beach, and an abundance of scrumptious food.
The resort’s infinity pool is not to be missed. It has a 12-foot dive area and also a children’s pool.
After that quick holiday at The Bellevue Resort Bohol, I felt recharged and ready to go back to the hustle and bustle that is life.ย The Bellevue Resort Bohol offers more than just a beachfront resort. It’s a spectacular escape you can take on your own or with a special someone!
