CFC Youth for Christ’s (YFC) 26th year has become extra special with the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) declaring this year as the Year of the Youth themed “Filipino Youth in Mission: Beloved, Gifted, Empowered.” With great excitement, YFC will celebrate young missionaries through sending off its Metro Manila delegates to the 26th International Conference (ICON) in Davao City on April 2019.
This year’s YFC Metro Manila Pep Rally is entitled “Padayon”, a Visayan word which means “to continue.” The Pep Rally is filled with dance and music, a creative showcase of various performers who will compete during the ICON. This event also serves as a venue to encourage more youth to join the rest of the community from around the world to experience Christ in Davao City through various activities such as pastoral sessions, workshops, and parish encounter.
More importantly, the young are once again called to reignite the flame and carry on with the mission to bring Christ wherever they are—to be children of light; to be witnesses of a future full of hope.
The YFC Metro Manila Pep Rally is set to happen on 24th of February at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary Basketball Court. The event starts by 12:00 PM. See you there!
