On December 17, Alesso was scheduled to perform at the SMDC Festival Grounds. Hours before the show, however, his performance was reportedly canceled.
The following day, the DJ posted an Instagram Story, saying, “Manila, due to unforeseen circumstances that were out of my own control, I’m deeply sorry that my show was canceled.”

He added, “Me and my team are doing our best to make it up to you. I’m so sorry for this! [broken heart emoji]”
Ovation Productions, which organized the performance, released a statement about the canceled show.

It said, “Due to unforeseen circumstances, Alesso was unable to perform at the SMDC Festival Grounds [on] Saturday 17 December 2022. A new date is being discussed and will be announced as soon as possible. Saturday’s scheduled show pushed through featuring ACRAZE and the other support acts without Alesso. Entry to the show was made free by Ovation Productions.”
Ovation added, “Saturday’s tickets [are] valid on the new date TBA.”
Those who wish to refund their tickets are advised to do at their point of purchase.
